I had an artist cancel on me the day of the performance. I contacted John through thumbtack, liked what I saw, and very luckily was able to book him the same day that we needed him. Little did I know that he was as stellar a performer as he turned out to be. This guy is an amazing talent. I still can’t believe how lucky we were to have him perform there. John Thomas "understood the assignment", as they say! He helped celebrate my dad's life at a post-funeral reception. He played the perfect songs and even learned a couple with special meaning to our family. It was one less thing to worry about during a difficult and stressful time. Very professional. John was the surprise element for my wife’s surprise birthday party. The process of working with John to share my need and closing on amount was really smooth but that wasnt even the highlight. John made our wedding day so memorable. He was kind enough to learn our song (la vie en rose) and sang it beautifully. It meant the world to us to have someone so talented both vocally and with his guitar playing to create such a gorgeous rendition of that song for us on our special day. He captivated our guest with his playing, but was also understated and did not draw too much attention to himself with his playing during more intimate moments like toasts. John Thomas was fantastic! Leading up to the event, he was responsive and collaborative. We had a specific vision for our intimate milestone birthday event, and he more than made that happen. On the day of the event, he was punctual, professional, friendly, and he blew us away with his voice and talent! Some quotes from our group: “His voice is like butter”… “Music that was felt in the soul”, and 2 people are already considering him for a future event they had in mind. John performed as a duet at our Halloween party and it was absolutely wonderful! He was extremely easy to work with, very responsive as we planned the details, arrived on time, and most importantly sounded great!
